The colophon is the place where you write about the technical aspects of your creation. If it were a book, you’d talk about the typeface in which it was set, the printing process, the binding, the cover, etc.
For a blog, well, the expectations may be much the same, but the details can be very different. Take the typeface, for example. On a web page, the best a designer can do is suggest to the user what typeface (font) should be used to display the text on the page. What actually is presented is mostly uncontrollable.
Theme
Custom theme? Tried it. WordPress standard theme? Was fine. Now I am using Platform (the free version) and find it pretty cool. Mind you, I am going for customization capability with minimal effort. I think I have succeeded in this.
