We didn't want to come back, but come back we did. Vacation was glorious, and the kids had a blast. 100° here, today. Why did I move South?

Remember the Christmas we went back to B.A.? The plane got there about 6:30 in the morning, it was 95º out, with 95% humidity, and we all took a deep breath and sighed, "We're HOME!" Nothing like the power of nostalgia.
Dad and I often used to ask ourselves, "Why was it, again, that we wanted to leave San Francisco?" And l feel that way in Long Beach too, till my eyes start to itch. I'm still allergic to the place, alas.
Glad your trip was fun. Love, Mom
I did not know you were allergic to Long Beach. How awful.
