Like most people, I had never heard of Feist prior to 1,2,3,4, but of course quickly fell in love. Her voice is so distinctive that — even though I didn't really know anything about her beyond that iPod Nano (mini?) commercial — I immediately recognized her singing La Même Histoire during the closing credits of Paris Je T'Aime. And then, of course, I became obsessed.

Her rendition of Tout Doucement is unbearably heart-crushingly sweet.

She's an odd duck, all right, but cute. I was a teensy bit disappointed with how this came off (liking the source material as I do), but it beats anything by the Jonas Bros.
