Apple Remote: Remote Control Done Right!

bbum waxes poetic about the new iTunes remote con­trol appli­ca­tion released by Apple for the iPhone and iPod touch. I knew it was com­ing, but this is the first time any­one has con­firmed that it will let you rate tracks. With that (and the price tag, as in beer) this offi­cially eclipses Remote Buddy in the Home Com­put­ing Mas­ter Plan.

    This week­end I’m going to make another run at get­ting my ATV to sync with my Mini. I think my prob­lem might be my router…I sure hope I can get things straight­ened out.

    I will, rest assured. That said, has there been any men­tion of a 2.0 upgrade for the touch? All I hear is iPhone, iPhone, iPhone. I guess we’ll find out. You ready to shell out your $20?
