Thoughts on Obama’s Oregon rally
On May 18, Barack Obama held a rally in Oregon, were he attracted a widely reported 50,000 to 75,000 people. I watched some of his speech via a clip on YouTube, and I was struck by two things. First, he has two daughters (1:20 in the video). All this time, and I had no idea he had kids. And the woman covering the event almost goes out of her way to not point them out. Second, when he gets up there on stage alone (at about 3:25), in the open, I feared for his life. And that was before Clinton brought up Bobby Kennedy. For the record, I don't think she meant anything by it. That's ridiculous.

Except that she didn't say it just once. It wasn't a slip up. She said the exact same thing weeks ago in print, plus a few times in between without actually using the word "assassination." Like everything she says and does, it was highly calculated with a purpose in mind. Exactly what she was trying to accomplish is unclear since she seems to stand for nothing really other than winning.
I think she can actually go lower than this. I mean, she's basically the devil incarnate, so there's little she wouldn't be willing to do based on her desperation level, so it's fascinating to watch her come unraveled, revealing inch by inch the horns and pointed tail and the curious blood red color of her eyes.
Let's not forget that she was once the president of Young Republicans.
