They might want to change that
Got an email message today from the "Hilton Family". My brain had to wade through many images of Paris Hilton (drunk, partying, with friends, those friends, drunk, partying, pregnant, leaving their babies to go partying and get drunk, etc.) before realizing it was a confirmation email from Embassy Suites (a Hilton property) for our upcoming trip. Now I get why Grandpa Hilton un-inherited Paris. They might want to make that email come from "Hilton Hotels" or something.
I was thinking that Paris was probably never too worried about grandpa's money because a) she's already a millionaire in her own right and b) she's almost certainly still included in her father's will, and he's no slouch on the money front, either.
Still, according to the Telegraph story linked above, she's out like $95 million dollars, and left with only $5 million. That's a big drop.
Well, she's only "out" that money if one assumes her grandfather ever intended to pass it on to his heirs in the first place. While the Telegraph might have some idea of the size of his estate, it's unlikely they had access to the text of his will.
