It seemed (seems) like so much effort. Now they take baths together (I still don't want to get wet) and spend a lot of time playing with each other. Hopefully that makes up for it. We bought a little sink bath for Ava and used it a couple times, but then I ended up getting into the big tub with her for baths. I'm really glad I did. I got a taste of that skin-on-skin baby contact that moms get so readily with breastfeeding. I'm not saying it's for everybody, but it's <a href="http://flickr.com/photos/heet_myser/30498449/" rel="nofollow">a hell of a lot of fun</a>, and my heart swells just thinking about those special moments I got to share with my daughter.
