New spokesperson for infectious diseases

So, I was doing some research yes­ter­day about an espe­cially scary infec­tious dis­ease, tour­ing the Inter­net, check­ing the CDC sites, and I came across this photo on the page about wound treat­ment. Now, I know from how put-together and happy she looks that she’s just a stock photo model, prob­a­bly some wait­ress in L.A., but I have to say, I find her atti­tude most reas­sur­ing. She’s got that can-do friend­li­ness that says, “Every­thing is going to be okay. The foam­ing will sub­side. Really!” I think she deserves the job.
